I can't get past the feel and the smell, so now looking elsewhere for a worthy successor to Daily Defense.disappointed3Cap was loose and came off and it doesn't squirt out well. If that's what I wanted, I would buy a facial sunscreen (for less money). I've given it a chance to see if it grew on me, but every time I put this on I feel like I'm armoring up for a summer day outside rather than moisturizing my skin. I don't feel like I bought a moisturizer at all, instead this stuff feels (and smells!!!!) like using a watered-down sunscreen. After using for a month now, I can say it's a horrible substitute. This product in particular is in my everyday rotation for its sunscreen ingredient and highly moisturizing effect!Wouldn't recommend2I was excited about this product until it left my face feeling greasy and super shiny.Watered-down sunscreen can't replace Daily Defense2When I recently saw that Neutrogena had discontinued Daily Defense SPF moisturizer (why?!?!), which I'd happily used for years, I looked for the next closest product and this was it. The sunscreen built in provides great protection and the hyaluronic acid leaves me feeling soft and hydrated all day.An everyday product5I love all these Neutrogena Hydro Boost. It leaves me feeling moisturized, but not greasy, and is easy to layer before or after makeup. But as a stand-alone product, my skin would not be getting the hydration it so desperately needs.Must Have for Your Skincare Routine5This moisturizer is a must have for any skincare routine. I do like the SPF level & how lightweight it feels. My thinking, instead of just not using the product I am going to add it to my current skincare routine. There is no added fragrance but you are left with a sunscreen scent. The packaging says fragrance-free, which is true. Don't get me wrong, I love the SPF level and seriously believe everyone should wear it but in combination, it isn't working. My dry skin didn't feel quenched instead I feel like the SPF 50 overpowered the hydrating effects. It's got all the items I would use normally in the morning (moisturizer, Hyaluronic Acid, and SPF) in 1 convenient bottle. I have tried many face sunscreen moisturizer and this one has been by far the best and absolute favorite. One and Done? Maybe Not.I started using the Neutrogena FMT Hydro Boost Blue Opal with the idea in mind that this product was supposed to be a sort of 3-in-1 daytime skincare product. Also I can reply this sunscreen every two hours without it forming a nasty build up. It has stung my eyes before, but resolved that by now massaging the sunscreen all over my face with the exception of my eye area first, than finish up with the little left over smoothing over my eyelids and under eyes. Has not broken me out, pairs well with my skincare routine. One pump covers my whole face, but sometimes use two pumps and it all absorbs into my skin. I have repurchased and plan to continue to do so. I have been using this sunscreen for almost 2 month. I was apprehensive to try since I dislike the water gel formula. Moisturizes without adding oily shine.I have oily combo, acne prone skin. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs. When using this product keep out of eyes. ![]() Other information: Protect this product from excessive heat and direct sun.
